Wild Roots Classical – Summer 2025 Nature Study Program (15 Weeks)
Wednesdays | June 18 – September 24, 2025 | 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: Rochester Hills, MI (details shared after registration)
Ages: 5–13 (younger siblings welcome)
Program Overview:
Join us for the founding summer season of Wild Roots Classical, a nature-based enrichment experience rooted in classical tradition, sacred play, and seasonal learning. Over 15 weeks, your family will journey through living nature study themes, hands-on wildcraft skills, and storytelling that forms the heart and mind.
Each weekly gathering blends:
Themed nature exploration and journaling
Living read-alouds from Aesop, Scripture, Burgess, and more
Poetic observation and sketching
Wildcraft and pioneer skills like whittling, foraging, fort building, and fire
Sacred play and community time in forest, field, and stream
This is not a drop-off co-op. It is a parent-and-child program designed to cultivate deep learning and connection through a slower, sacred rhythm of life.
Pricing:
1 Child: 💲450 total → $30/week
2 Children: 💲750 total → $50/week ($25 per child/week)
3+ Children (Family Cap): 💲900 total → $60/week ($20 per child/week for 3 children — no charge for additional kids)
Infants and toddlers (age 2 and under) attend free when joining an older sibling.
Tuition Includes:
✔ 15 weekly nature study gatherings
✔ The Weekly Home Companion curriculum (printable & digital)
✔ Access to the Wild Roots Online Platform (launching soon), with seasonal mother-teacher formation, classical home rhythm support, and nature study resources
✔ Optional field trips and a family campout
Please Note:
Groups are intentionally limited to 10–15 families to preserve a sense of community and depth in learning.
Sessions run rain or shine and take place entirely outdoors.
We begin with wonder and end with roots.
